Since July 5, Apple has released the second version of the public beta for its users. For developers, this is already the third version.
The developers received access to the beta 3, it did not take long for it to land for the general public. So far, no major problems have been detected for this new version, more stable, but not quite polished yet.
In the news section: more detailed maps in Plans, a completely revised interface for the Dictaphone on iPad, the entry in the running of Shortcuts presented during the WWDC 2018 that allow to activate one or more linked apps with a simple voice command. For example, turning off the lights, dimming the thermostat and closing the curtains. In addition, some bugs have been fixed.
As for the first public beta, install it only if you really want to preview the iOS 12 features. test version and so it still has some bugs despite everything, including some major functions of the system.
If you still want to join the adventure before the official release of iOS in September, take care to perform a complete backup of your iPhone before installation, and avoid downloading it to your main phone.
To install it, same procedure as for the first public beta. Go to the Apple Beta Program page sign in via your Apple ID account and download the Apple Configuration Profile to the badociated device on which you want to install it. Then take the device and go to Settings> General> Software Update, and install the beta that will come to you.
Note that the second beta of tvOS 12 is also available.
