While François Corbier died on July 1, 2018, Télé Star decided to pay tribute to him by dedicating his vintage moment of the week to his appearances on the 1989 Dorothée Vacances program.

In order to pay tribute to him, Télé Star decided to take from his archives some photos of François Corbier when he presented the program Club Dorothée Vacances ] in 1989 alongside all his acolytes of the time: Dorothée, Jacky, Ariane, Patrick Simpson Jones, the late Frambroisier ( Claude Chamboissier of his real name), and even his producer Jean-Luc Azoulay . At that time, the team took no rest because during the school holidays the Club Dorothée went into summer mode by becoming the Club Dorothée Vacances .
A sad disappearance
Before becoming the animator we all know, François Corbier began his career as a singer. After having released his first record and performed on stage in numerous cabarets, sometimes alongside artists such as Georges Moustaki and Maxime Le Forestier during a few years, Alain Roux by his real name is engaged by Jacqueline Joubert the director of the youth unit of Antenne 2 (ancestor of France 2 ), in 1982. He then joined the program Recré A2 incarnated by a certain Dorothée .
François Corbier will follow the animator with a good part of the team of Recreate A2 when the latter joins TF1. He will become one of the presenters of Club Dorothée from 1987 to 1996 when he left the show. If he tries to capitalize on his notoriety later by relaunching his singing career, success is not really at the rendezvous. He will also know a lot of galleys as he confided himself. During his career, he has released 7 hits and 6 albums, the last of which was in 2015.
