Audi RS6-E by ABT: photos and specifications

[ad_1]

What is hybrid and has more than 1,000 hp? A prototype LMP1-H of Le Mans? Yes, but not only: ABT has just revealed its RS6-E and it also displays a four-digit power. It is precisely 1,018 hp that coexist under the hood, and 288 of them come from an electric motor powered by a battery of 13.6 kWh.

A simple subtraction and you get the power of the V8 4.0 biturbo: 730 hp is an improvement of 170 hp compared to an original RS6. On the torque side, the hybrid engine displays the monstrous value of 1,291 Nm. Fortunately, the quattro all-wheel drive is always there to channel everything!

Surprisingly, ABT gives no performance figures. We imagine, however, that they must be particularly impressive. However, it is likely that the RS6-E gives rise to some demonstrations on the sidelines of the Formula E races, ABT being engaged in the championship of single-seaters with Audi.

Finally, the marketing of this preparation is not on the program of the German firm for the moment but since the ABT e-Line range for electric vehicles was launched recently, one would imagine very well the RS6-E become the spearhead of the catalog
