Petrobras, Total and Total Eren signed a Memorandum of Understanding to consider joint projects in the solar and wind energy on the Brazilian territory, announced Petrobras Tuesday in a statement.
The objective is to exploit in common the strong potential of Brazil in the matter of renewable energies, in particular in the north East of the country, said Nelson Silva, director of the organization and management systems of Petrobras.

Nelson Silva said that Petrobras and Total's investment volume had not yet been defined, nor the participation of each company.

In 2016, Petrobras and Total formed a strategic alliance to jointly explore new opportunities in Brazil and other countries.
