Le match entre la Belgique et l'Angleterre, jeudi à Kaliningrad, pour la troisième journée du groupe G de la Coupe du monde, sera dirigé par l'arbitre slovène Damir Skomina, a annoncé la FIFA. Le Slovène ne rappele pas un bon souvenir aux Diables Rouges. C'est en effet lui qui officiait lors du quart de finale perdu contre le Pays de Galles à l'Euro 2016.

Pickford: 'Le genre de match que l'on veut jouer'
Gardien titulaire de l'Angleterre, Jordan Pickford était présent mardi en conférence de presse afin de préfacer la rencontre de jeudi contre la Belgique, décisive pour la première place du groupe G de la Coupe du monde de football 2018 en Russie. "Notre mentalité est celle de gagner toutes les rencontres que nous jouons. La Belgique est une équipe du top et il faudra être à son meilleur niveau lors de ce match", a déclaré le portier d'Everton.
"Notre premier match contre la Tunisie a été très important pour construire cette spirale positive dans laquelle nous sommes actuellement. Nous avons rempli une part du contrat en nous qualifiant après deux rencontres.
