Gamescom: Microsoft promises some surprises

[ad_1]

Gamescom, a video games exhibition, will be held from 21 to 25 August in Cologne. Microsoft will take the opportunity to broadcast an episode of Inside Xbox where new games, accessories and "surprises" will be discussed.

On his blog, the company said the Inside Xbox episode would contain " a lot of information, new Xbox One bundles, accessories, features, upcoming games and a few surprises, perhaps "Information that contradicts some articles published earlier this week, which indicated that Microsoft would take advantage of Gamescom to announce a new machine. It is true that the first version of the article published by Microsoft used the term "new hardware", before being replaced discreetly by "new bundles."

No new console so for this episode that will be broadcast on 21 August at 16:30, Belgian time (on Xbox.com, but also on Mixer, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and Twitch). But the firm of Redmond could very well offer among others a new version of the high-end controller Elite.

As for the next Xbox console (codename: Scarlet), it should arrive in 2020. According to badyst Michael Pachter, Wedbush Securities company, Microsoft would make every effort to market before the next PlayStation. " I'm sure that Microsoft intends to launch Xbox Scarlet first, and I'm just as sure that the new Xbox will be backwards compatible with all Xbox One X-based software." I agree with the makes it hard for Xbox One X buyers to cash in, but they should know that when you're in the fourth year of a console cycle, there's another one coming in. I guess Microsoft has for the intention of going out (the Xbox Scarlet) in 2020, but if they think that Sony will release the PS5 at that time, then they will launch the Xbox Scarlet sooner than that. "

This was an error on my side. I corrected my blog post and noted that it has been updated in the title and the body. Xbox Wire had it accurate. To be clear, we've gotten a bundle of accessories at @gamescom . See you there Tom?
