At approximately 10:30 am, police, fire, SMUR and Ores services arrived in the pedestrian emergency, fearing a gas leak. Part of the pedestrian had to be evacuated. But after checking the emergency services, it was actually a simple smell and therefore a false alarm.

Some walkers, who wandered in the city center of Mons on Tuesday morning, were very surprised. They were forced to leave the pedestrian at the behest of the police following a gas leak warning. A large part of the rue de la Chaussée had to be evacuated.
