Stéphane Rosenblatt leaves RTL Belgium

Summer murderer at RTL Belgium . A new historical figure leaves the private channel. After more than 30 years of house, Stéphane Rosenblatt, director of television, saw his employment contract be broken Wednesday.
  

As a reminder, following his dismissal from his position of content manager of radio Bel RTL, Stéphane Rosenblatt had brought an action for interim relief which he was dismissed. He then appealed against this decision. He also brought an action on the merits.
  

In an internal letter, of which L'Echo took note, it can be read that, after an interview with the person concerned, RTL Belgium states that "in the light of the situation, the conditions of trust and of loyalty that must govern their collaboration are no longer met. " And to explain that "by the various legal actions initiated by Stéphane Rosenblatt against the company (…) and its general posture since May, it broke the relationship of trust necessary for the durability and the effectiveness of the collaboration and so expressed his willingness to end the collaboration. " And the chain continues: "Based on this observation, the Board of Directors of RTL Belgium and the management have noted the end of the collaboration as of today." Legally, this departure is equivalent to an "equipollent act to break" and does not give rise to compensation.
  

Contacted, Stéphane Rosenblatt categorically refutes this version of events which, he says, undermines his honor. "RTL considers that I have made it impossible to continue any collaboration, so I would be the author of the break – it's a complete counter truth," he says.
  

Stéphane Rosenblatt is surprised that this breach of contract occurs the same day of his appeal against the interim decision. "Nobody is above the law and it is up to each party to a trial to submit to the final decision of the judges.In my case, it could not intervene following the radical decision of RTL Belgium" , he notes.
  

He states that his work has never been questioned and that his attachment to RTL has remained intact. Since the beginning of the dispute with RTL, he has continued to carry out his duties. "I leave RTL after 33 years of loyalty to this house thanks to which I was able to exercise all the possible professions in the audio-visual, I have no bitterness but I will badert my rights", we have he says.
  

His role will be taken ad interim by CEO Philippe Delusinne, pending the arrival of a successor. At a time when the chain is preparing its new grids in a context already tense by the #evolve restructuring plan that has resulted in the departure of 88 employees, the start of the season promises to be explosive for RTL.
