Weather: towards an absolute record of temperatures in Belgium

À Uccle Friday, a temperature record was reached Friday. Surveys recorded 34.6ºC at 13h. It's the hottest July 27 ever.

said the meteorologist David Dehenauw on Twitter.

But according to the MRI meteorologist David Dehenauw, another record could be beaten: the one of the hottest day in Belgian history, with temperatures that could reach 39 degrees locally. The previous record is set at 38.8ºC measured in June 1947 in Uccle.

But for this it must be that several conditions are respected: "There must be no clouds or thunderstorms during " said David Dehenauw in Nieuwsblad

However, the month of July 2018 will not be the hottest month of July recorded by the IRM. The average temperature of the month is 23.6ºC, well below the average 23.6ºC in July 2006.
