21h04 – A Cinacian dies during a quad bike ride in Bertogne

A man in his thirties from the Ciney region killed himself on Saturday in a quad bike accident in Bertogne, several media reports on their website. The victim was participating in a quad tour organized by the local tourist union. The pilot reportedly lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree. "We do not know why he has deviated from the road," says Burgundy Mayor Christian Glaude at the Last Hour. "When help arrived, it was already too late." The hike in which the victim participated was suspended, as well as the concert scheduled for Saturday night as part of the event, report local newspapers. (Belga)
