A 33-year-old man was sentenced Tuesday by the Criminal Court of Liège to 8 months in prison after committing cocaine possession. He was also staying illegally. This man had initially been suspected of being part of a large drug sales network developed by Iraqis in Liège.

The accused was subject to a police check on public roads on 3 March 2018. He had been found in possession of several cocaine balls and a mobile phone with 1,791 contacts. The individual had argued that he held this drug for his personal consumption. He denied being involved in a drug trade
