Last Monday, two individuals violently badaulted a 19-year-old woman in an alley of Anderlues.
U gathered in the late afternoon on the Place Verte in Charleroi to denounce the attack on a Muslim girl in Anderlues last week. Initiated by Vie féminine, this gathering had received in Charleroi the support of the Charleroi Regional Integration Center (CRIC) and the Gender Equality Advisory Council initiated within the City of Charleroi.
The rally was the occasion of various demonstrations of support. Some of those present had displayed placards denouncing aggression. Each of the participants also had the opportunity to leave a message of support in notebooks made available.
Other gatherings were scheduled in Tournai, Mons, Mouscron and Brussels.
