Monday late afternoon, a biker from the region of Rochefort died in a car accident between Marche and Hotton.
The 57- or 58-year-old man was driving towards Hotton when he collided with a car traveling to Marche. According to preliminary findings, the accident occurred while he was overtaking between the railway bridge and the Hotton entrance. The biker died on the spot. Shocked, the driver of the car received psychological badistance from the police zone. An expert descended on the scene of the tragedy, while a doctor was expected on site to perform a post-mortem blood test. The accident and its aftermath resulted in the closure of the National for several hours. Deviations were set up near the Bourdon Chapel for motorists coming from Marche, and up to the Lambert garage for those coming from Hotton.
