Apple wants to adapt a work of Terry Gilliam in series

Apple is about to acquire the rights to adapt Terry Gilliam's film Time Bandits in a series

Terry Gilliam, whose Don Quichotte is currently in the theaters, wanted since 2015 to adapt his film Time Bandits in TV series

According to Deadline, the project could come to fruition thanks to Apple with the setting up of a show co-produced by Paramount Television and Media Rights Capital, with Terry Gilliam as executive producer.

Released in 1981 Time Bandits (titled "Bandits, bandits" by us) showcases the burlesque adventures of six dwarves and a young boy through time and history. They meet Napoleon, Robin Hood or Evil himself. The work had the participation of most Monty Python as well as Sean Connery, Ian Holm and David Warner. To this day, we still do not know which actors or directors will be attached to the series project.
