Belfort – The two rappers Toulouse Bigflo & Oli raised the crowds, gathered under the stage of the marquee by torrential rains, opening the 30th edition of Eurockéennes de Belfort.
" You are completely crazy in Belfort ," said Bigflo, one of the two brothers of the duo, at the end of the second song of the concert.
Fruit shirt for Bigflo, red polo for Oli, the two rising values of French rap chained the tubes – The normal life, Dad, Damage – were facing a crowded crowd, compact and soggy by torrential rains.
The festival-goers, succeeding in following in heart the very sustained flow of the Toulouse, jumped relentlessly during the first thirty of the concert, sometimes forcing the two artists to stop for a few moments to calm the game gently.
A few minutes earlier, the inaugural concert on the big stage of the Scots of Texas, ended under the applause of the Belfortans, surprised half-way by the showers, transforming the lawn of Malsaucy in muddy field.
The patrol of France kicked off this 30th edition of the Eurockéennes de Belfort, flying over the peninsula, to the acclaim of tens of thousands of people.

The festival-goers entered the site at 5:30 pm, thoroughly searched by the security service and welcomed for the first of them by Jean-Paul Roland, director of the festival, with some welcome gifts.
The French rap star Orelsan, who won three awards in December at Les Victoires de la musique for his album La Fête is over, will succeed Texas on the big stage in the second half of the evening.
The edgy electro of the Guatemalan dj Carnage will accompany the dancers until 2 am at the lacustrine scene of La Plage and fireworks will conclude the first day of this anniversary edition.
Sixty-two pop, rock, hip-hop and electro concerts are planned this year at Eurockéennes.
The 2018 programming juggles with musical styles, but gives pride of place to rock veterans – Queens of the Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails, Alice In Chains, Llam Gallagher … – and new French-speaking rap stars like the Belgian Damso, Lomepal, Bigflo & Oli and Moha La Squale.
On the French song side, Juliette Armanet and Eddy from Pretto will perform the show on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
