BMW on provisional pole of the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (Stavelot)

Surprise in qualifying for the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, since it is the BMW M6 GT3 # 34 of Tom Blomqvist, Christian Krognes and Philipp Eng who signed the provisional pole. But it is Friday that will be the pole position at the Super Pole, which will bring together the twenty fastest qualifying cars.

The format of qualifications has evolved for this edition. The qualifiers are now split into four 15-minute games (one for each driver) and it's the average of the best times of each driver that determines the result.

In this little game, it's the astonishing BMW M6 GT3 # 34 from Blomqvist-Krognes-Eng (GB / Nor / Aut) who obtained the best average. Belgium's Fred Vervisch (Audi) and his teammates finished in second place ahead of two Audi R8s from Belgium's WRT and Land Motorsport.

The Super Pole will take place on Friday at 18:30.

The start of this 70th edition of the meeting spadois will be given Saturday at 16:30. Last year, the trio Haase / Gounon / Winkelhock won on an Audi R8 of the French team Saintéloc.
