Brusselez au marché: the new website dedicated to the markets of …

Since this week, the City of Brussels has put online a brand new website: marches.bruxelles.be. The objective of this website is:

– reference all the markets of the City
– give the practical information of these places of sale
– reference activities present on the markets
– boost the presence of markets on the web
– explain the procedure to become a merchant

This site allows all Brussels residents to have an overview of the markets of the City of Brussels. To know the practical information concerning them and to know the type of display they can find.

The City of Brussels has made further improvements

The City of Brussels has made many improvements for the markets since 2013.

For 5 years, the City of Brussels has created new markets such as the European neighborhood "Jeudis Jardin", that of De Wand and the organic market of Place Sainte-Catherine.

The City has also made efforts to make the stalls more attractive and the offer of these stalls more varied. For markets that sell antique objects, the City of Brussels commissioned an expert in antiquity to control the quality of the exhibits. This ensures authentic purchases to customers.

There are no less than 15 markets in the City of Brussels that take place every week! In order to make them known to the general public, every year in May, the City of Brussels organizes a "I like my market" communication campaign. This campaign informs and organizes many activities during this month.
