Recall of tapenades and pestos
Problem: presence of salmonella
In the context of a self-examination by the producer, the presence of salmonella was detected in the one of the raw materials, namely pine nuts. Finished products made from this raw material are potentially impacted. As a result of this possible contamination, Pietercil Delby's SA, in consultation with the producer and the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain, decided to recall the products in which this raw material was used.

Consumers who bought one of the products in question are asked not to consume it e t return it to the point of sale. Returned products will be reimbursed.
Salmonella food poisoning is manifested by gastrointestinal disturbances often accompanied by fever within 48 hours of consumption of the infected product. These symptoms may be more severe in young children, people with weakened immune systems and older people. People who have consumed the product and have these symptoms should consult their physician, indicating that they have consumed this product.
