Announced on the sidelines of the iconic rally-raid, Dakar 18 has been rather discreet so far and the wave "Summer 2018" which hovered could suggest that the game would take some time. It is finally September 11th that we will be able to rub the arid landscapes of South America in an authentic experience on consoles and PCs.
The Portuguese development studio rally fan Bigmoon Entertainment announced today the official release date of its DAKAR 18 rally-raid simulation. The cross-country rally game will be available on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC on September 11, 2018.
DAKAR 18, based on the famous rally annual-raid organized by Amaury Sport Organization (ASO) in South America, is a realistic simulation of the world's largest rally-raid and offers you to fly a large number of official vehicles, in a gigantic open worlds. Players will be able to use real road books – provided by the drivers to the development team – to sail through the 14 stages that will take them through Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.
Players will be able to compete in fierce online competitions, but also play offline to develop their flying skills. DAKAR 18 focuses on realism and promises stunning graphics. The game faithfully represents many vehicles and official drivers in each of the five categories in presence (cars, motorcycles, trucks, quads and SSV) during the DAKAR 2018. The game will also allow to play alone, but also in online multiplayer and split screen.
