Dirty weather for Tesla in Belgium

Tesla sales plummet in Belgium … Fans still waiting for the release of Model 3.

In the first six months of 2018, only 509 cars of the American brand were registered at the scale from the country. This is 20% less than in the first half of 2017, according to the registration figures of the Febiac automobile federation.

This sharp decline comes in a slightly growing market ( + 2.81% for 322,302 pbadenger cars registered in the first half). The brand dear to Elon Musk is, in volume, four and five times worse than its competitors Porsche and Jaguar, Jaguar which has seen its sales increase this year by 25% boosted new releases.

In the clbadification of car brands the most popular in Belgium, Tesla now lands at a dismal 33rd place just under Ssangyong and Lexus. 60% of the Teslas sold in Belgium remain Model S marketed since 2012. The rest of the sale comes from the Model X, the SUV launched by Tesla in 2016. The fans are still waiting for the release of the Model 3 .
