Dour and Frameries will test the recovery of cans at 5 cents

Between 100 and 500 years old, this is the time that an abandoned can in the nature can degrade. Yet we find regularly on the roadside. To combat this scourge, the Minister Carlo Di Antonio has set up a pilot project for the recovery of cans. Specifically, each can collected will be entitled to a premium of 5 cents, in the form of voucher valid in partner businesses. Frameries and Dour are among the 24 Walloon municipalities to take part in a first two-year pilot project.
