This Thursday morning, around 9:30, an explosion has sounded at the Rue du Couvent near the old Refuge. A neighbor alerted the firefighters who quickly mastered the fire that was starting to spread. No casualties.

I was in my attic when I heard a huge explosion. It came from behind
"Says a neighbor of the house concerned. "
I looked in the garden and saw a cloud of dust coming out of the house next door.
"
Firefighters, alerted by local residents, intervened very quickly at the scene of the explosion. They were forced to break down the front door to be able to contain the fire.
At the back of the house, uninhabited at that time, the bay window was moved several inches by the breath. This allowed the dog inside to escape into the garden and avoid intoxication (photos).
Part of Convent Street was blocked for firefighters to ventilate
