The models concerned were sold between 2009 and 2016.

The problem is with models Focus C-MAX Connect Kuga Mondeo Galaxy and S-MAX equipped with a 1.0, 1.5 or 1.6 liter petrol engine EcoBoost and a six-speed manual gearbox. The models concerned were sold between 2009 and 2016 . The affected customers will be called by their dealer, and will see their cars repaired for free.

This recall comes four days after Ford recalled 550,000 vehicles in North America for another clutch problem on different models. In March, it was 1.38 million US vehicles that had been temporarily withdrawn from circulation for a risk of stalling the wheel.
