Forty-eight jobs lost at Opel Belgium

The French car manufacturer PSA begins a restructuring of its Opel brand in Belgium. A total of 48 jobs will be removed, the newspaper De Tijd announced Tuesday night on its website, citing trade union sources. Twenty jobs out of 98 Opel Belgium are concerned, and 28 out of 48 at Opel Finance.

Opel headquarters in Belgium (located in Kontich) should merge with those of Peugeot and Citroën which are located them to Braine-l'Alleud. The announcement could come in autumn, according to the BBTK (Setca).
