The defender Mouscron Christophe Diedhiou will be suspended for four days of championship, confirmed Tuesday the Litigation Committee of the Belgian Football Union (URBSFA). The Senegalese player is also fined 4,000 euros. The Litigation Commission has followed the proposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the URBSFA

Diedhiou was dismissed on Saturday after beating Indy Boonen's face in the match lost by Mouscron to Ostend (2-1). Referee Wesley Alen had first shown the yellow. He changed the color of the card after the intervention of the video badistant referee (VAR).

Monday, the prosecution had claimed four days suspension and a fine of 4,000 euros. Mouscron did not agree with this proposition of sanction. Club and players appeared on Tuesday before the Litigation Committee. This one followed the request of the Prosecutor's Office.

Diedhiou is suspended from August 2nd. He will miss home games against Club Brugge (5 August), Antwerp (11 August) and Eupen (25 August) and the trip to Anderlecht (17 August).
