A recent study by the NGO Plan International Belgium revealed that one in six girls has been badually harbaded at least once during a festival in the last three years.

Faced with this, the minister decided to appeal to the 80 operators EVRAS youth already the bellied by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and will be present at the festival sites this summer to pay special attention to this issue.

From 2019, prevention on festival sites will become a priority for EVRAS training. For this purpose, the budget devoted to these activities will increase from 100,000 to 250,000 euros. Operators wishing to do this type of activity may be granted a maximum amount increased.

Festival organizers will also be invited to set up a specific system to combat badual harbadment.
