Tomorrow will be the second week of Fortnite Skirmish, and our players have been invited to participate!
TheVic, Madzen and Froragix invited to the Fortnite Summer Skirmish Series
Tomorrow at 7 pm it will be week 2 from Fortnite Summer Skirmish Series . If the first edition was only held in North America, this second week will see the Summer Skirmish Series split in two with an American competition and a European competition. And for this first edition dedicated to Europe, our players TheVic, Madzen and Froragix have been invited!
This competition is done by invitation, and will have a rather original format: each player will launch a solo part in his corner. Each player will have 5 hours to start 10 matchmaking matches. The points count is quite simple: one TOP 1 will give 5 points, the other tops 0 points. The player will be entitled to 1 point per kill, and all levels of 20 kills he will earn 10 bonus points. Moreover, if a player makes 20 kills on a game he will have a bonus of 10 000 €!
In total, there will be a cashprize of 500 000 $ allocated to this competition. However we do not yet know the distribution of the winnings between the players. Many people are disappointed by the "solo" aspect of the competition, which does not offer the epic battles that can be found in private tournaments of professional players. See Gotaga or TheVic popping bamboos playing on iPhone or PS4 is probably fun for a stream, but it's slightly disappointing for a competition with a cashprize of this magnitude.
