What cheating are we talking about?
Since Dieselgate, we knew the practice of manufacturers to manipulate downward CO2 emissions of cars. Here, the European Commission has raised a new hare that shows that while the industry may not be the leader in the electric car of the future, it still has not lost its capacity for innovation. Hand-in-hand in the Dieselgate, it has rebounded and invented the practice of artificially inflating its pollutant emissions. The reason ? Reduce its CO2 reduction targets, which will be dictated by legislation currently under revision
