A fire broke out in a building on Rue de l'Armée Grouchy in Namur on Friday morning. The damage is essentially material. The Namur police closed the street to traffic during the duration of the intervention.
This Friday at around 7 am, a fire broke out in a building on Rue de l'Armée Grouchy in Namur. The firefighters intervened in number, especially as a large amount of smoke was observed.
Fortunately, there are no injuries but, according to some neighbors, the fire was reportedly caused by squatters occupying the premises. Will remain to know, for the investigators, if the origin is voluntary or accidental.
During the men's intervention in the NAGE rescue zone, local police officers closed Grouchy Army Street. The situation was under control shortly after 8am and traffic must be restored during the morning
