As was the case for the iPhone 5c, Apple could introduce exotic colors with its next phone equipped with an LCD screen.
If nothing is yet engraved in the marble – this will not be the case before the conference scheduled for September – Apple should launch not two but three iPhone at the end of the year. They will be based on the design of the iPhone X and draw a range as follows: an OLED 5.8 (a X updated), an OLED 6.5 (an X Plus) and an LCD 6.1 (a cheaper X).
And, according to the information of badyst Ming-Chi Kuo, quoted by 9to5Mac in an article of July 5, 2018, these iPhone will be full of color, including the LCD version that would be sold around $ 700. 19659004] Rendering of the iPhone 2018 by 9TO5Mac
Five colors for the LCD version
Apple could therefore reiterate the strategy operated for the iPhone 5c with a lower-end iPhone declined in five colors: gray, white, blue, red and orange according to Ming-Chi Kuo. To give an overview of the result, a rendering was imagined by 9to5Mac. If this model would indeed face Face ID, it should do without some elements to display an affordable price (examples: no stainless steel frame, or double camera at the back).
On the side of iPhone OLED, Apple would opt for wiser and premium liveries: in addition to the silver and sidereal gray available with the iPhone X, the next would be offered in gold finish. An indiscretion reminding that prototypes had leaked via the FCC: another proof that Apple really thinks of it. It would be, in any case, a logical evolution of the range begun by the X.
