An American team has discovered twelve new Jovian moons. One of them evolves dangerously like a ghost conductor

D orze new moons were discovered around Jupiter, bringing to 79 its total number of known natural satellites. It is a record among the planets of our solar system. While humanity gives itself the means with the help of sophisticated probes to know more about this mysterious planet, this lunar discovery is the result of chance.

Among the rich harvest of new Jovian moons, two are close of Jupiter. In just under a year, they travel around the planet in the same direction of rotation as this one. This is why we speak of internal prograde moons. The scientists who discovered them consider them fragments of a larger moon that would have broken in.
