If a 7% growth of the Walloon population is expected between 2017 and 2035, some municipalities will undergo a famous leap in the coming years.
In April 2016, a work of the Demography Research Center of the UCL commissioned by the Walloon Institute for Evaluation, Foresight and Statistics (IWEPS) on the population and household perspectives has provided data that anticipate the future of the communal populations of Wallonia by 2035 .
