The Android Auto and Apple CarPlay overlays are widely used to allow drivers to deport their smartphones on the screen of their vehicle's multimedia system. In addition to being generally very intuitive, they can compensate for the poor quality of some multimedia systems, in addition to enjoying the 4G / 5G connection of the connected smartphone.

Be that as it may, Mazda had never proposed these options on his vehicles. However, a discreet announcement was made by the builder to confirm their upcoming arrival. As with most other vehicles, the connection will be via a USB cable (currently, only BMW offers a wireless connection for these systems.)

The other good news is that the owners of a Mazda equipped with the MZD Connect, will be able to carry out an update at their dealership to activate the option. The price of this intervention has not been disclosed, but most manufacturers usually charge the transaction for a hundred euros. The arrival of this new feature is scheduled for August 6.
