Nearly a train on two scheduled for Montparnbade will circulate Sunday, less than Saturday, announced Saturday Rachel Picard , director general of Voyages SNCF, the day after the fire of a substation powering the station.
The SNCF asked RTE "to act urgently to find before Thursday a quick solution so that our customers can travel" , she added at a press conference.
Thursday is the scheduled date of complete restoration of the current Montparnbade station by RTE, the manager of the high voltage electricity network.
Meanwhile, the forecasts of traffic for Sunday are deteriorating compared to this Saturday, where two thirds of the trains had to circulate.
"The service that we will be able to badure tomorrow is a little less than 50% because of the constraints of material", has said the manager.
The fire on a RTE substation in Issy-les-Moulineaux on Friday disrupted the movement of trains in the middle of a summer crossover in Montparnbade.
Some 100,000 travelers had to take a train station Montparnbade. The trains maintained are divided between Montparnbade and Austerlitz station.
