More than 2.3 million tax returns submitted on Tax-on-web

More than 2.3 million tax returns were introduced on Tax-on-web, according to the count posted by SPF Finances shortly after the closing time Sunday at midnight.

At 23:59 Sunday, all tax returns for the 2017 tax year were to be introduced. Monday morning, around 02:00, the counter of the online portal of the FPS Finance posted more than 2,313,600 statements introduced. A figure that will evolve, especially since online statements managed by an accountant can be introduced until October 25.

The deadline to submit a tax return online had been extended by three days because of problems techniques encountered Thursday, following a cable break in a building of the FPS Finance. Taxpayers then had more time until Sunday evening to file their tax return online.
