Temperatures will exceed 30 degrees in the next few days. Several regions of the country will be placed on orange alert. The MRI emits a "strong heat warning" when a period of intense heat is expected, both day and night, for a minimum duration of one to three days.

According to the weather forecast, mercury will rise to at 31 degrees Tuesday and Wednesday, 33 degrees Thursday and up to 34 degrees Friday. At night, the minima will remain quite high, with values ​​that will still oscillate around 20 degrees.

From Tuesday, several regions will be placed on orange alert, before it becomes widespread throughout the country Wednesday. Only the Coast will remain relatively unaffected.

In such circumstances, it is recommended to drink plenty of water and be especially attentive to the elderly or weak. These people should not be left in direct sunlight. It is also advisable to dress more lightly, to stay in cooler places or to avoid external heat by closing doors and windows.
