Quinten Hermans (Telenet-Fidea) won the 4th stage of the Tour de Wallonie in Herstal. He won the sprint and took the leader's jersey thanks to the 10 seconds of bonuses awarded to the winner.
The young Belgian, already 2nd in La Roche, started his sprint from a long distance and nobody managed to put it back together. He preceded Lorenzo Manzin (Vital Concept) and Roman Cardis (Poweo), winner of the 1st stage. Pieter Serry (Quick-Step Floors) and Edward Planckaert (Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise) complete the top 5.
Tim Wellens (Lotto-Soudal) finished in the pack. He controlled the Quick-Step attacks in the final bumps, but he did not have the speed to win (and therefore the bonuses) to the fastest riders.
The 5th and final stage will link Wednesday Huy in Waremme on 187.5 km. The name of the successor of Dylan Teuns will be announced on the list of the first race of the second part of the season in Belgium
