Reload an iPhone with another iPhone would soon be possible

There seems to be something new at Apple in terms of iPhone charging.

Indeed, a new patent filed by the Apple shows the ability to recharge a smartphone with another. A new way to recharge your iPhone, which is moving a little further from the more traditional solution of the cable and the electrical outlet.

This system would not be reserved for the iPhone since it seems that this technology can also appear on the iPod, iPad and connected watch. This patent appears just days after the one stating that the future MacBook Pro could incorporate a charging area without cable.

All future Apple products could thus integrate this wireless charging technology. This is based on the principle of induction, a technology that allows the transmission of energy without contact.

This is reminiscent of Apple's ambitious plan, the AirPower, which had already been introduced in September 2017. It promises a rug that can charge several Apple products, by induction. But here, it does not seem only a question of a device capable of being recharged wireless, but to allow this same device to transmit energy to a third party.

A little revolution for those who have several Apple products. It would be enough for them to recharge their iPhone with their iPad, or conversely, without having to run for a charger. It remains to be seen which one of its devices a user will want to sacrifice to recharge the other.

If the patent filed by Apple does not officially mean that this technology will be integrated into the future iPhone, iPad, iWatch and MacBook, it remains all of even promising. Apple files a lot of patents, without necessarily using them in the near future or not.
