Renault presents its new Mgane R.S. Trophy

Offering even more performance and sportiness, especially for sports driving enthusiasts, the new Renault Mégane RS Trophy reinforces the Renault Sport range by perpetuating the line of Trophy versions, developed since the first generation from Megane RS

The new Mégane RS Trophy inaugurates a new version of the 1.8L turbo engine, increased to 300 hp and 420 Nm thanks to the use of avant-garde technologies, particularly for the turbocharger and for the exhaust. This engine can be combined with a manual gearbox or EDC.

Equipped with the latest innovations of Renault Sport in terms of ground connections, including the 4Control system with four-wheel steering and shock absorbers hydraulic compression stops, the new Mégane RS Trophy is equipped as standard with the Cup chbadis, which is distinguished by firm suspensions and a Torsen mechanical limited slip differential. This version is also enriched by bi-material front disc brakes, specific 19 '' rims and a very high performance Bridgestone tire, which can be combined with new exclusive lightweight wheels.

To offer the best sensations, the new Mégane RS Trophy can be equipped with a new generation of Alcantara-coated Recaro front seats.

Responding to the need of connoisseurs looking for exclusivity, the Trophy version remains perfectly usable day to day, taking advantage of all the strengths of Mégane RS, including the ability to choose between different driving modes using the Multi-Sense, the exceptional performance of the RS Vision lighting system, and the telemetry system. " Associated with the development process of Mégane R.S. since last year, I am very happy to see the family grow with an even sportier version! Each of the new features introduced on New Renault Mégane R.S. Trophy goes towards more sportiness. It is obviously positive to have more power, to have a better grip thanks to the tires and to be able to count on a higher endurance of braking. I also really enjoyed the feeling of the new seats: the maintenance for sporting use is excellent "said Nico Hulkenberg, Renault Sport Formula One Team driver and Renault Sport ambbadador.
