The festival Les Ardentes begins this Thursday, for what should be the penultimate edition on the site of Coronmeuse. Red devils and urban music are on the program of a sold-out festival.
Once again this year, the Les Ardentes Festival will present a skewer of artists over four days and on four stages. The artists will perform on the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th of July from 1 pm until 1 am in the morning for the last concerts, on the Coronmeuse site. The Creative Zone Wallifornia Park will again be one of the major attractions of the Ardentes as part of the Wallifornia MusicTech. This year, a new OFF scene is installed in Wallifornia Park. The program is entrusted each day to a different collective.
In addition, the match between Belgium and Brazil in the quarter-finals of the World Cup will be broadcast on the RAMBLA stage on Friday at 8 pm
Rescuers of the Red Cross will be about fifty each day to take turns to ensure the preventive security device. A major health post will be installed in the Coronmeuse Sports Hall and this year a smaller health post will be in place at the rink. Water will also be distributed free of charge throughout the festival.
With regard to transportation and traffic in the Ardent Region, special shuttles and TEC line 1 will allow festival-goers to make free return trips from Wednesday to Monday. . They will connect the city center and the Liège-Guillemins TGV station to the Coronmeuse site. In addition, the night of Sunday 8 to Monday 9 July, a special night train is scheduled at 2:30 from Liège-Guillemins to Brussels-Midi.
