The Netflix streaming platform announced on Wednesday that it had acquired the broadcast rights of the show Bruce Springsteen, Springsteen on Broadway .
The legend of rock began last October 12 this intimate show at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York, reports BFM TV . It comes in the form of a solo acoustic performance written and performed by Bruce Springsteen himself.
Personal stories and opinions about society mingle with the singer's piano and guitar. The show was to last only eight weeks at the base but given the success, it was extended three times. The legend of rock has even been rewarded with a Tony Award.
It will be released in December
Netflix announced the release date of the show on December 15th. This is the date on which the singer will finish his performance, after more than 230 performances.
