Between the new concepts of TV shows and game shows, C8 takes the opposite direction by developing the return of three flagship programs on television with "La Méthode Cauet", "Avis de Recherche" and "The game of truth". For the start of the 2018 season, the channel of the Cbad + group has decided to reprogram old cult shows on the small screen. To always compete with the other channels, C8 will play on the nostalgia by taking "La Méthode Cauet" with Sébastien Cauet, a new show inspired by "Avis de recherche" and "The game of truth" with Patrick Sabatier at the helm. C8 prepares a bonus of two hours to celebrate the end of the show stopped in 2008 on TF1: "We will make an evening for the fifteen years of the show ", said Sébastien Cauet in Le Parisien. Patrick Sabatier will be back not for one but for two shows on C8. The cult host of TF1 will present "We find ourselves at Sabatier", a show inspired by its former program "Avis de recherche" broadcast in the 80s on TF1 will be updated to the taste of the day. The host and producer on C8 has obviously worked to revive these old shows. He is also at the origin of the discussions for the return of the "Game of the truth", another cult program of Sabatier dating from the 80s.
