The Chinese giant of the VTC, Didi Chuxing, announced Tuesday a partnership with the American juggernaut of online hotel booking, Booking.com, which is investing half a billion dollars in the platform of vehicles with driver.
Under this " strategic partnership ", the two booking platforms will be interconnected, said in a joint statement Didi Chuxing and Booking Holdings, the operator of Booking.com.
Didi users will be able to book a hotel room on Booking .com and Booking.com users a trip to the Didi site
Booking Holdings also includes Kayak, Priceline and Agoda sites. The group presents itself as the world's number one online reservation of nights.

Didi, one of Asia's top-rated start-ups, made its debut last month on the Australian VTC market after setting foot in Japan and Brazil.
