It is not the few drops that fell yesterday and Saturday (and again, not everywhere) that change something in the drought period that we know. But in the coming days, do not expect rain. The drought is even visible from space, as shown in our picture.
The coming week will not improve the condition of the soil. It will be very hot with maximas exceeding 30 degrees. At the rate things are going, we are very close to the record year of 1976.
The gardens are dry, the fields are yellow and the grbadlands usually so green are completely scorched. The drought even sees space. The British Met Office, the British Meteorological Institute, has released two satellite images that show the drought of southern England and, at the same time, of Belgium.
Forecasts for Sunday and Monday show a calm time and hot but temperatures should still remain below 30 degrees.
From Tuesday to Saturday, the sun will be present despite some cloudy developments and the weather will be dry to a possible ripple near, very localized. It will be more and more hot: the maxima will exceed 30 degrees in most areas, except at the coast. At night, the temperatures will be hard to fall below 20 degrees.
It will be necessary to avoid the big efforts in the sun, to be well hydrated and to look after the most fragile people; Seniors and young children.
