The Foire du Midi returns from July 14 to August 19! More than 2km of attractions await you between the Porte de Hal and the Porte d'Anderlecht.
The Foire du Midi: a true Brussels institution
Every summer, it's one of the city's folklore events Brussels most awaited! Between mid-July and mid-August, children and adults alike will enjoy thrills and fairground gastronomy.
This year, a brand new attraction is born at the Foire du Midi! "Top of the World" is a chain ride, will take you to 60m high … This is an opportunity to (re) discover the fairground from a new angle!
There will be 130 attractions that will complete this Fair, from the most clbadic to the most sensational, over 2km of course … What to stay all afternoon! If you are not too much of an amusement but fun gastronomy … you will be delighted!
There will be Kermesse sauce for french fries, croustillons, apples d'amour, etc. Last week, we met Patrick De Corte (chairman of the Fairgrounds committee and owner of Friterie De Corte) to tell us his best memories of the Foire du Midi.
The City of Brussels has thought about traffic issues … and offers free "Free Shopping Bus" shuttles for Brussels residents and tourists wishing to go to the Foire du Midi.
These "Free Shopping Bus" depart from the Heysel (Smurf Experience), go through De Wand then the Sainte-Catherine district and the Central Station to finish at the Gare du Midi.
A great plan to see the Smurf, do the sales and the Fair! In addition these "Free Shopping Bus" are electric and run from Tuesday to Sunday from 13:30 to 18:30.
The last weekend of the event, August 18th and 19th, the Fair is at a reduced price! Fairgrounds will discount between 20 and 40% on the price of attractions. A great plan if you have a big family!
If you go to another time, there are coupons constantly on the site of the Foire du Midi … Spread the word!
Another good deal … The Interparking de la Porte de Hal offers a 3 € package from Monday, Friday, from 15h and Saturday, Sunday and holidays, all day.
The Foire du Midi 2018 will be open from July 14 to August 19, every day from 15h to 1h, weekends and eves of public holidays from 15h to 2h.
