After testing the private mode for a few months, YouTube finally deploys it on its Android application.
In January, the media 9To5Google found several lines of code arguing the development of a new private mode on Google's video platform. If all browsers have been running a private browsing mode for years, the feature did not exist on YouTube yet. If there is no badgraphy on the platform, at least normally, an incognito mode could hide his little secrets, and why not, his musical tastes sometimes debatable. Moreover, such a mode also makes it possible not to alter the video recommendations proposed by the algorithm of YouTube since the videos looked in private are not listed in your history.
A mode much more practical than the old method [19659005] In the same way, the 9To5Google media reveals that the private mode is now deployed on the Android application of the video platform.
To use this new feature, simply move to the icon your profile at the top right of the screen, next to the search icon. In the top category, just above "Settings," the option "Enable incognito mode" now appears.
The first time, YouTube displays a message stating that you have "entered incognito mode" . The private mode will display an icon at the top of the screen to let the user know that the feature is active.
