Two individuals entered the Ladbrokes in the center of Warneton and violently beat the manager of the facility before fleeing with the cashier.
The facts took place on Monday morning at the corner of Ypres Street and Lille Street. Two hooded men broke into the Warneton Ladbrokes. Presumably very aggressive, the thugs grabbed the manager and hit him in the face. Under the threat of these two individuals, the victim had no choice but to give the contents of his box. According to a source close to the case, the thieves stole about 3,500 euros. Information that the police did not want to specify.
Once their booty in their pocket, the robbers fled in a dark vehicle towards the French border. The unfortunate manager was taken to the hospital in shock. Luckily, he would only be slightly hurt. The police opened an investigation and will view the images recorded by the various cameras of the establishment and downtown.
The editors wish him a speedy recovery.
