At 62, Lucette Deneyer joins the PS list where she will occupy 2nd place following the withdrawal of the CPAS president Marie-Claude Leroy

Following the unexpected withdrawal of Marie-Claude Leroy, current president of the CPAS, the 2nd place was vacant on the list of the Chievois PS led by the new bourgmestre Olivier Hartiel. The name of the candidate who will occupy it has just fallen and will not go unnoticed. Indeed, it is about Lucette Deneyer who is none other than the mother of Bruno Lefèbvre who has just left the mayorate of the city of the Aviators to try to contest that of the city of the Giants distant of only a few kilometers.

At the request of the local socialist team, 62-year-old Lucette Deneyer agreed to stand for next October's municipal elections with the hope of being elected and to continue her son's political action in the Chièvres entity during the next legislature.

Born into a socialist militant family, retired and having spent her entire professional career in the province of Hainaut as secretary and in charge of personnel management, the candidate that nobody was waiting for explained why she chose to take up the challenge: "From a very young age, I learned what solidarity and sense of duty mean."

He who precedes it in the order of distribution is convinced that his presence on the PS list can provide support but also some experience in the management of files. "Because of her popularity and commitment, she is the ideal candidate to accompany the women's team and, moreover, she is from Huissignies as our deputy mayor", smiles Olivier Hartiel.
