In the clbadified buildings of the municipality of Etterbeek, it is impossible to install an air conditioning system. This is also the case in the municipality of Ixelles. The municipal authorities have developed a heat plan taking the basics in case of high temperatures: water, fans and more break time.
Tomorrow, the municipal authorities of Ixelles will meet to make the point on the days of heat wave expected. They plan to adapt their schedules on Thursday in order to perhaps shorten the working hours of their employees.
