190,000 Walloon jobseekers and 30,000 job vacancies: this is the Walloon paradox
It can be explained in particular by the low level of qualification of some job-seekers. This is the conviction of the Minister of Employment, the MR Pierre-Yves Jeholet. To improve the situation, he launched several initiatives.

Inciting
First of all, the € 350 awarded to any jobseeker who has followed and pbaded training in a trade in shortage. In addition, the one who has opted for this sector will be prepared for job interviews at the end of his training.
This measure will be activated in September.

Reform of the PFI
The Walloon Government adapts also the Training Insertion Plan. It is little used by companies. However, those who participate in the operation are almost always recruited. From 2019, the device will be relieved of its administrative constraints, announces the Minister.

"Punch"
Finally, Pierre-Yves Jeholet promises companies or groups of companies that need at least 8 workers for the same function, that the Forem will concoct a turnkey service. It is up to the companies to hire at least 80% of the winners of the training. This solution is already available.
